Our History
Massage Therapists: Birmingham, Hoover, Homewood and surrounding areas
Tom & Cheryl Williams are a married couple whom are both graduates of Birmingham School of Massage and Licensed Massage Therapists. Tom is a retired Deputy Sheriff and a former member of the Birmingham Rugby club. Cheryl spent around 20 years working with the elderly in different roles such as a CNA, Activities Director and Licensed Administrator.Â
Tom & Cheryl’s Mission is to provide a therapeutic massage tailored to meet the needs & expectations of their clients in a relaxing, safe environment.
Cheryl and Tom are so excited and proud at the growth of our little massage business. We started out with just the two of us (thus the name Birmingham Massage Couple) and over the past 7-8 years have expanded our offices twice and now we have a staff of 15 outstanding massage therapists. Our therapists are independent contractors and we are excited and proud that they have chosen to pursue their careers with us. They all bring something different to the table and as a business we offer so many different type of massage modalities that I am sure you can find the type of massage that you are looking for.
As a business we pride ourselves in offering a safe and inviting atmosphere. Many clients say
they like coming here because it feels like they are visiting family and we love that!

Donna Brooks
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (license number 50172) and a Licensed Neuromuscular Therapist. I received my massage training at the Birmingham School of Massage in Birmingham, Alabama.
Prior to that journey, I spent 20 years as a lawyer, knowing I was doing a good job, but never feeling like I was doing GOOD. During those years in the legal profession – and while carrying all the stress of litigation in my body – massage therapy became a true source of respite and wellness for me. I’m now in the Second Act of my career, and I want to help people in the way I was helped all those times.
I grew up in Florence, Alabama, and am also a performing singer-songwriter. I have two very goofy German Shepherds, and am an avid practitioner of Pilates.
