Active Isolated Stretching is a type of stretching that Tom utilizes. It was develped by Aaron Mattes 40 years ago. Aaron is known as the guru of stretching and I am enjoying learning under him. I am in the process of becoming the only Nationally Certified practioner of AIS in Alabama and I am excited about that!

AIS is the most sought after stretching and sports massage modality in the country. it is obviously great for increased flexibility but also helps with pain, stiffness, and athletic performance.

It is great for athlete’s, crossfitters, people who exercise, and for folks who just want relief from stiff aching muscles. I can create a session with you that is all stretching or one that combines my Structural Integration along with the stretching.
